The word "Diesel" reminds us of something that may not be flashy but an object that is built for strength and longevity. This is our rendition of the basic plain toe boot pattern made with proven leather uppers, lining, and insole. The kicker is the Leo last being utilized on a boot pattern, which offers exceptional support and comfort. 

The Waxed Commander leather requires little-to-no maintenance and ages beautifully.

Derived from our experience fitting and developing various orthopedic-shaped lasts designed for specific foot shapes, the Leo features a moderate arch, heel control, medial support, and forefront freedom. It embodies a traditional welted shoe shape while prioritizing all-day support and comfort.

A Fantastic, No-Fuss Boot for Rain, Snow, and Everyday Wear

"Excellent boot for inclement weather and casual everyday wear. The leather is extremely durable and has a substantial, high-quality feel. It’s a little stiff at first, but it breaks in nicely with repeated wear. For sizing, I found that going ½ size down from my normal shoe size gave me the best fit. The quality and craftsmanship are excellent. I couldn’t find a single stitch out of place or any blemishes in the leather. It’s just an all-around no-fuss casual boot that you can wear without worrying about scuffs, scratches, or scrapes. This is the boot I’d reach for in the rain, slush, and snow, especially for casual wear and around town. It’s versatile enough to go with just about everything. It’s also easy to maintain, which is another big plus. Just a fantastic boot overall—durable, versatile, well-made, and built to be worn without having to baby it."

"I am loving my Diesel Boot Black Waxed Commander. They were a little stiff at first upon arrival but they have broken in wonderfully the more I've been wearing them the past few weeks. I am definitely impressed by the quality. They have nice, thick leather and the leather insoles are nice and buttery."

Bad Tongue

"This is about my 12th pair grant stones and my first one with a significant issue. They started out fine, but after a few wears (enough to void the return option) the right tongue started to dive and the instep became painful. I tried all the suggestions from Grant Stone to train it, but it continued to get worse. I took them to a cobbler who put a couple stitches in the tongue to keep it from moving, but the pressure on the instep was incredible and the stitches popped after a day. So I got about two months out of this pair of boots and half of that was uncomfortable and burdensome. Into the trash, shame."

Blown away

"This is my first pair of Grant Stone boots and I couldn’t be more satisfied. It looks and feels like a quality shoe. Coming from Red Wing Iron Rangers, the fit is about the same in terms of length. A little more snug in the toe box, but that’s expected with the lower toe box height. The lug sole adds some casual flair without making it look too bulky. And there’s decent arch support which should get better over time. The leather looks, feels, and smells amazing. I would definitely consider another pair."
