The word “diesel” doesn’t exactly remind us of something flashy but instead of something built for strength and longevity. This is our rendition of the basic plain toe boot pattern—made with nothing but proven leather uppers, lining, and insole.

Brooklyn Calf tanned by Charles F. Stead strikes a perfect balance between a clean article with a full-grain, yet it has rich color and depth. The combination tannage finished with a blend of waxes and oils creates a captivating pull-up effect that only adds character with wear.

The leather can have prominent vamp breaks and a variation of colors. Since this is a light-colored vegetable-tanned article, areas on the boot may have darker hues.

"Excellent leathers, excellent craftsmanship, and this color is Stunning. This boot is probably the sturdiest boot I have ever worn and it’s comfortable and it looks great with my slacks and tie. I picked this color because we are supposed to wear cognac shoes at work, and I thought this was the closest. I catch the people I work with staring at the and even telling me I’m making them look bad lol. This is my first pair of Grant stones and it won’t be the last.
