The Floyd last runs a half-size large. Our customers typically take our Floyd-lasted footwear a half-size down from their average size. However, if you have low volume feet, you may want to go a full size down.

The Floyd Last is a modified version of the Leo and shares many of the same features: a moderate arch, heel control, medial support, and forefront freedom. In contrast to its progeniture, the Floyd last features a taller, more voluminous toe box, providing a classic Americana workwear look.

"I love this boots, the break in nicely, are comfortable and look great. My only grief is that the tongue does not stay in place while wearing it. It is incredibly annoying. On the positive side, it is so thin and maleable that it does not restrict movement. Other that that they would be perfect."
"Initially it was the color that drew my eye to these boots but when they arrived they were better than I'd anticipated. The color and the softness of the leather are both amazing. I don't think I've ever had a pair of boots break in this quickly. The styling is very unique and these would go well with nice jeans and a blazer. The quality of the stitching is really good and the number of stitches per inch is also very high. The boots have almost no heel slip and the foot bed has a good amount of cushion. The insole and lining are both up there in quality. These may become daily wear boots for me. Grant Stone also delivered on their promise of how easy it is to exchange boots. I wear an 11 EE with my Red Wings and after a couple of emails with support they suggested getting 11 E in Grant Stone. That did now fit me and the exchange process was painless and extremely fast. (I exchanged them for 11 EEE. ) If you are on the fence about getting a pair Grant Stone makes it risk free."
"The kangaroo leather is very unique and has an interesting texture, feels super supple and comfortable on the feet. The colour has subtle variations depending on the light conditions - my best description would be an olive / grey hybrid. The ordering and sizing inquiry process over email was very seamless and professional. Quality and finish is a cut above my existing pair of RW boots 😉"
"I'm sitting here trying to think of the negatives of this boot, but anything Ive got to complain about would be from a true nit-pick approach. The speed hooks turn in place and I've never seen that. Is it a feature or oversight? But even that, I make it work because it comes in handy when I wrap the leather straps around my ankle. The leather feels incredible and you wouldn't expect green kangaroo leather to be as versatile as it is but the jungle color comes off as a neutral that's surprisingly easy to pair. The only color it clashes with are blue shirts. It's taking some time to break in but that's expected but they're reasonably comfortable right out of the box. I sized down to 12E from my usual 13D US and I'm not sure I have a pair of boots that fit me better from the 5 or 6 other brands of boot I own. Oh and that smooth leather lining makes it a breeze to put on. If you're mulling over whether or not to make a purchase, I can confidently say you will not be disappointed, if only for the luxurious smell of the leather these boots produce."
"The style is the best moc toe even compared to the allen edmonds. The size is little longer if you have a shorter feet length. If you got those long toes then run 1/2 size down to tts. Amazing E. Give you a comparison i wear iron ranger 10. 5 ee, 10. 5e on the brass is better. The kangaroo texture is so nice. I hope GS makes more kangaroos in different colors. I hope they make one for ottawa."
