Elias Side-Zip Dark Oak Roughout

Made with

Goodyear-welt Construction

Renowned for its durability and ability to be resoled repeatedly, Goodyear-welt construction involves stitching a welt—a strip of leather—around the shoe's perimeter, creating a cavity. After filling the cavity with the shank and cork, the sole is attached, providing strength and water resistance. This construction method results in shoes that are not only long-lasting but also easily repairable, making them a timeless investment in quality craftsmanship.

Built on the

Sawyer Last

The Sawyer last offers exceptional all-day comfort and support. It provides significant arch support, excellent heel control, and ample forefoot freedom. While most customers wear half size down, those with high insteps typically wear their average shoe size.

Our mission

Providing Excellent Service

Our priority has been putting customers in shoes that properly fit them and standing by our amazing products. Many customers have found they have been wearing an incorrect size for years. This has been lost in the market today. We offer the majority of our footwear in D, E, and EEE widths to provide well-fitting footwear.

We encourage customers to ask our team for assistance to ensure the best fit.

Perfect zip boot !

"Beautiful boot ! I normally wear a 7. 5 and after reading reviews from other buyers, to order them 1/2 to 1 full size down ! So, I chose a size 7 ! Fit is perfect, not to tight in the toe box & very little slip in the heal when walking! Easy to put on and take off ! I really like the roughout in the dark oak ! Very versatile for most situations! Dresses up nicely, or can pair nicely with jeans ! Personally, I wear them a lot with cord pants& man it makes a nice combination! Looking forward to other color options for this boot !"

Fast. Comfort. Style.

"The Elias is my new favorite Grant Stone product. Sexy style for days. Most comfortable boot situation I’ve encountered. I stayed with my Floyd and Leo last size (10d) and the fit was perfect. No tongue to go wonky, no laces to fuss with, no break in at all. The dark oak rough out leather has a waxy/oily base with a buttery suede touch. These are gonna look great getting older with me."

Highly recommend

"Absolutely blown away by these boots. I never thought I would own a zipper boot, but the pattern is absolutely perfect. The quality and craftsmanship is stellar and I absolutely love these."

My 3rd pair of the Elias boots

"I have been a GS fanboy for 4yrs+. These are my 3rd pair of the Elias and my 18th GS footwear. I own the Ottawa's, Diesel's, Edward's, Brass boots, Long Wings, Traveler's, and the Horsebit loafers. My boots and my long wings fit well but my 2 Traveler's don't work for my instep. I've been looking at the Elias when they first came out months ago but I was never interested in purchasing because of the shaft. It looks weird sitting straight up however, I've been looking at the side zip Rolling Dub Trio Casper's however, they are OOS and the ones on ebay are $1300usd+ which I'm not spending on a pair of used boots. It dawned on me that GS offerred a similar boot so I bought the Dune Cxl, then the Natty Cxl RO, and then these. I ordered the Black Cxl version however, I have not received them yet because they're on backorder. These are super comfy for me. I've been wearing my Natty RO version since I got them and they are super comfy and they're patinating nicely as well. I can wear my Elias for all day wear and not feel any hotspots anywhere in my foot. I love the look of this boot. Especially the toe box. It's a mixture between a western boot and an engineer boot. The contrasting well frames the toe box perfectly and since it has a structured toe, this boot will maintain their structure for many years. I really love this style. I got sick of tying up my boots and these have zippers and they go on and off quickly. These were a big snug on my out of the box eventhough I bought the same size. Not sure why but it's ok. They will break in. I have never bought the DO RO leather so the leather smell is new to me. I don't think there is a better looking boot for the price and the look is perfect. I am confident these boots will be great after a decade of use. Good thing they're goodyear welted so I can keep resoling these. The fact it's got a 270 welt is pretty cool too. My first boots with 270 welt. This style is just beautiful imo. Can't wait for my Black Cxl ones to be delivered to me. Those will look better than the RDT Casper's."
