Free Exchange on Domestic Orders

The Elias Side-Zip boot offers a clean, smart silhouette while being a true workhorse. It features a blend of vintage motorcycle and western boot elements, providing protection from the taller shaft with the added convenience of a zipper. The zipper allows for a narrower shaft, making the boot easy to wear with most pant cuts. The clean, unadorned profile transitions seamlessly from business casual attire to your favorite pair of denim.

The result of a complex, 28-day tanning process, Horween’s Chromexcel is a highly durable and supple, combination-tanned leather hot-stuffed with natural oils and waxes. The Chicago-based tannery has been producing Chromexcel since 1913. It is prized for its soft hand-feel, strong pull-up, and ability to develop a unique patina over years of wear.

Made with

Goodyear-welt Construction

Renowned for its durability and ability to be resoled repeatedly, Goodyear-welt construction involves stitching a welt—a strip of leather—around the shoe's perimeter, creating a cavity. After filling the cavity with the shank and cork, the sole is attached, providing strength and water resistance. This construction method results in shoes that are not only long-lasting but also easily repairable, making them a timeless investment in quality craftsmanship.

Built on the

Sawyer Last

The Sawyer last offers exceptional all-day comfort and support. It provides significant arch support, excellent heel control, and ample forefoot freedom. While most customers wear half size down, those with high insteps typically wear their average shoe size.

Our mission

Providing Excellent Service

Our priority has been putting customers in shoes that properly fit them and standing by our amazing products. Many customers have found they have been wearing an incorrect size for years. This has been lost in the market today. We offer the majority of our footwear in D, E, and EEE widths to provide well-fitting footwear.

We encourage customers to ask our team for assistance to ensure the best fit.

Most Handsome and Gorgeous

"My Elias seemed a bit snug initially especially when zipped up but after a few hours of wearing then in the house they feel great. The silhouette of these boots is stunning : Kind of part English riding boot, part cowboy boot and part rock star boot. They look great with jeans and slacks and have a very sophisticated cut and appeal. This boot is sophisticated in the city and at home in the country. A gentleman’s boot for sure."

Chef’s kiss

"My fourth pair of Grant Stones and once again they look amazing. Took me a minute to figure out the best way to get my foot in but they fit so well. Same size as the Leo last for me. Leather looks great, and they look so swaggy with some wide leg pants"

A Killer Pair

"Amazing boots! The fit and finish are impeccable. This is my first pair of Grant Stones but it won’t be my last."

One sexy pair of boots

"Dear GS, Thank you for the Black Cxl Elias boot. This will make the 4th and final Elias boots I have purchased. I am a huge fan of your footwear. I remember when you launched these boots in 2025 however I wasn’t in love with them. While searching for the Rolling Dub Trio, Casper’s, I noticed these. Similar to when I first found out about GS I was searching for the Alden Tankers. Funny how that works. Anyways, I pre-ordered these because they look better made than the RDT and I had all the other leathers already. I received them today and they fit well. The toe box was a bit tight but like my others they will stretch or I could go up to a 10D. This boot is truly amazing in every aspect and I find it hard to beat even by RDT. They are perfect, fit perfect, smell perfect, and they look perfect. These are now my favorite pair of boots with the Natty Cxl RO at close second. Thank you GS staff and thank you Kim, for picking these out for me. I’m not too worried about losing the chromeexcel lottery because to me, the thick creases you can get from cxl is a quirk of the leather and I don’t mind anymore. It’s funny how our tastes evolve in time. My first pair of GS’s I had a huge issue with thick creases but I have learned that is a sign of good quality leather because if it doesn’t crease chances are they’re pleather and won’t last. I try to tell people to chose the Elias over the Caspers, or the Our Legacy Camion boots because both brands are more expensive but I can’t see how the Caspers overtime the Camion boots being better than these in any way. Maybe the Caspers but definitely not the Camion boots and at a more affordable price however, a better made boot(imo). Thank you for all that you do GS Team! I’d like to see some Jodhpurs in the future or some engineer boots. If yall come out with either I’ll definitely buy them. They would make my 20th pair of GS’s footwear!"

Best looking Side Zip boots out there

"I have been looking for the Rolling Dub Trio Caspers and Gleaners. Also the Addict boots Western Side Zip boots. The Elias in Black Cxl is dope! It shines up so easily, great arch support, and style is great! I have 19 pairs of GS and I didn't think I would like these when they first came out a few months ago but since I was looking for a change and I found the last very good looking on these boots. They're a combination of the Western/Engineer boot fused together. The side zipper is awesome and I like these more than a Chelsea because the goring won't rip or over extend. I did also get a pair of Crimson Cxl Chelsea's since GS has no plans of coming out with a pair in Crimson Cxl. I know. I've asked multiple times. These boots are just as well made as Japanese, Korean, or Indonesian makers side zip boots. I have found out that the Addict boots uses a fiberboard heel country and that's a huge turn off because you need good leather heels because without that you can't lock in your ankle. I am normally a 9D in the Leo last but I couldn't get my foot into the boots at a 9D so I went up to a 9. 5D because I wear mostly wool socks even in the Summer time. These are super sexy from the top down and I really like the style now. I will get all 4 leathers and whatever else they come out with I will buy. Right now, I have all of them except for the Dark Oak. I have those on order. I have found GS is hard to beat in value and construction. I love these are 270 degree flat welt vs a 360 storm welt or flat welt. I think Wyatt did an excellent job closing 270 degree flat welt. These boots are perfect in every way. I will still look to get the Gleaners and the Addict boots but they'll have to come to the USA stores before because I'm not buying internationally due to the fees. It would be hard to beat GS because they use all leather parts except for the outsole. Outside of that, the toe, heel, midsole, insole are all leather. I've purchased the RMW Chelsea's and they had a fiberboard heel stack and insole. Don't know why since they are over $500usd for a pair. I am looking at their side zip boots but I don't think I'll get it because it's expensive."

Tremendously Sexy Boots

"Great style, feels more contemporary than the diesel. This feels like the new halo product from Grant Stone. Looking forward to seeing this in unique leathers I noticed that this model has less volume than the men's Chelsea. I'm a 9. 5E brannock with high arches: the 9D Elias was very snug on my instep and in the toebox. If you share any of these characteristics, I would recommend going with your brannock size on this model since there aren't laces to adjust"

Love this Boot

"Quality is great, fit is great(no heal slip), break in was easy and painless. Thinking about getting the rough out pair."

Justin T. (5/5)

"The Elias boots in the Sawyer last sizing was the same as the Leo last sizing for me in a normal D width. But if you have a wide or high instep you you would need to size up. The boots themselves are the usual high-quality craftsmanship expected from Grant Stone. Purchased the Elias zip boots in both the Dune & Black CXL."

Teddy (5/5)

"Very good boots. Half size up Good leather, good outsole"
