The Edward boot has larger quarters and slightly different details, such as smaller hardware and an extra eyelet, creating a dressier feel than the Diesel.
Badalassi Carlo's Ecbatana Lux uses the same raw material and vegetable tannage as their classic Minerva article. After tanning, distinctive markings are hand-tooled by two leather finishers. Color is then applied by hand, producing an intense contrast highlighted by the dark marks throughout the hide. In person, the leather is striking and guaranteed to age beautifully with its vegetable tannage.
Due to its handworked nature, there is significant variation from hide to hide, creating genuinely one-of-a-kind footwear.

"The marks on this leather gives it a very unique variation to flat coloured leathers and makes the boot stand out more as a statement piece with any outfit. The leather is more natural looking and doesn't have all that much pull up/colour vraitaion with wear but on it's own has a very rich colour. Overall very nice looking, great price and a good classy boot !"

"Quality of the boots and construction is top notch, as always, from Grant Stone. The leather had me on the offense when looking at the website; loved the color, but wasn't sure about the markings. But I took a risk, and I loved the boots when I got them! The markings look more refined in person, and the color depth is something else. I still think it could've done without the nicks in the leather, but it's not much of a detractor in the end."
