"I pre-ordered the Crimson CXL Longwing Blucher during the annual Black Friday sale and they were delivered in early January. I knew I would love them, as I already owned three pairs of Grant Stone shoes on the EEE Leo last. What I wasn’t prepared for was how intricate and detailed these shoes would be. From the second I opened the box they came in, I was floored by the meticulous detail work. The crafters who put these together were so careful about every single detail. I was absolutely blown away! Every single stitch was carefully placed and of course the fit was stellar. Great shoes!

"A well made long wing brogue with Goodyear welt construction. The beautiful crimson chrome xl leather looks and feels great. I have flat/ narrow feet with a low instep, the D width fits perfectly and doesn’t bulge at the sides. I have a bit of heel slip, thanks to my narrow heels, but it is improving with break in. They came well packaged with shoe bags so they don’t get scuffed if you are packing them in a suitcase."

Hi, I am looking at your B-Grade Longwing Crimson Chromexcel. Can you be specific as to the defects of this specific pair of shoes? Maybe a photo or two? Thanks, Roscoe: Good morning Rosco, The B grades are normally in great shape, based on our customers' feedback, so it's probably nothing blatant. Unfortunately, we won't be able to inspect this pair to assure you of its specific imperfection.
What size should I choose? I'm a Mexican size 5?: A Mexican size 5 is the equivalent of a US size 7. We find that going a half size down produces the best fit for our customers. In your case, that would be a 6.5D.
Can this leather be darkened with polish, etc? Or any plans to bring back a black longwing?: No plans to bring back the Black Longwing unfortunately. We have seen customers dye/stain the upper to any color they prefer. You can also use polish but it won't work as well as dying the upper and welts.
I have a narrow foot. How would this shoe fit?: Our D width fits a little more full than other brands you may have experience in. The majority of our customers wear a half size down from your common US sneaker size unless your sneakers are snug. Our footwear fits full. I’ve had these shoes for a couple of months now and have a big nick in one of them. What shoe cream or polish and color should I use to repair / cover?: If the leather is just indented, you can use neutral venetian cream and the underside of a spoon to smooth out the area. If there is a lighter base showing, you could do that step first and then use a brown shoe polish such as saphir or the brown venetian to help color the base grain. It might take a couple applications but this should do the trick.
