The Coast embodies a dress sneaker silhouette while using our favorite vegetable-tanned leathers. The aniline-dyed calf has a less pigmented (painted) look, instead having a certain transparency adding depth to the leather. The result is a natural appearance that becomes richer with wear.

"Been wearing them a while now, would really recommend them. I did make the mistake of wearing them to work whilst not fully broken-in yet. The left shoe fit like a glove, had no issues with that one. Actually it was a very comfortable shoe from day 1. The right one however was another story and took a while to break in and had my foot bleeding on two occasions. Don't mind the pain, but it changed the color of the interior to a blueish hue. Aside from that issue I have no reason to not give a five-star review."

- Does this sneaker have a leather insole like the rest of your line of Goodyear-Welt footwear?
- Thanks for inquiring! The insole is woven fabric with a footbed that has foam with a leather lining on top. This is not good year welt construction it is a cup sole construction.
