Pre-Order Coming Soon | Ottawa Boot Honey Glazed Shell Cordovan

$845.00
Size6

Free Exchange on Domestic Orders

The Ottawa boot—combining Goodyear-welt construction with time-proven leather uppers, lining, and insoles—is based on our classic Diesel boot. However, the hand-sewn split-toe moc breaks up the vamp nicely, creating a versatile business casual boot. The end result makes the otherwise broader shape of the Leo last look more aggressive and sleek.

A light shell cordovan color is not only harder to come by, but it also has unparalleled depth and color ranges, creating a natural aesthetic. Slight variation is expected as this article is the antithesis of cookie-cutter leather.

Note: Pre-orders cannot be canceled or refunded.

Made with

Goodyear-welt Construction

Renowned for its durability and ability to be resoled repeatedly, Goodyear-welt construction involves stitching a welt—a strip of leather—around the shoe's perimeter, creating a cavity. After filling the cavity with the shank and cork, the sole is attached, providing strength and water resistance. This construction method results in shoes that are not only long-lasting but also easily repairable, making them a timeless investment in quality craftsmanship.

Our Leo Last

Derived from our experience fitting and developing various orthopedic-shaped lasts designed for specific foot shapes, the Leo features a moderate arch, heel control, medial support, and forefront freedom. It embodies a traditional welted shoe shape while prioritizing all-day support and comfort.

Our mission

Providing Excellent Service

Our priority has been putting customers in shoes that properly fit them and standing by our amazing products. Many customers have found they have been wearing an incorrect size for years. This has been lost in the market today. We offer the majority of our footwear in D, E, and EEE widths to provide well-fitting footwear.

We encourage customers to ask our team for assistance to ensure the best fit.

Great boots and value. Dress up or down

"Felt Great right from the start. Love the honey shell cordovan. The fit and quality are excellent. Well worth the money"

— Ramon C. (5/5)

Beautiful Honeys

"Beautiful boots. My second in shell Cordovan but I like the color better and the Ottawas are perfect for displaying the different colors of the shell in different angles due to the multiple surfaces. The Moc stitching improve how these crease."

— Omar P. (5/5)

Honey Glazed Shell Ottawas

"This is my first pair of Grant Stone footwear. I got my grail boots right out of the gate! The anticipation was thick as I waited about 5 months to receive these boots from pre-order. Over that time, I worried about how they would fit. I normally wear 12E in all my other dress shoes, so I ordered that size in these boots. Hearing how roomy the lasts are, I worried that the boots would be too big. The fit is great. I will wear a tad thicker socks, but plenty of room for my toes, al the rest of my foot is gently cradled by the awesome leather of which the boots are constructed. As others have noted, the shaft is pretty sturdy/stiff - and will need some break in. The quality of these boots is TOP NOTCH. No stray stitches, welt joint is perfect, welt stitching is dense and deliberate. This will not be my last pair of Grant Stone and I will rock these with pride! Nice job to Wyatt and team!"

— Denny A. (5/5)

Money well spent

"Phenomenal boots at a highly desirable price. Great shell, breaks in with beautiful rolls across the upper and around the shaft, fits like a glove. Very impressed!"

— Connor F. (5/5)

Great Look and Built Like A Tank

"The Ottawa Boot in honey glazed shell is now my favorite boot. The shell has an amazing depth of color. The boot is sharp, stylish and versatile. It works with anything from jeans to business casual. The build quality is A+. Built like a tank. The heaviest shell boot I own! And they are super comfortable right out of the box. Highly recommended"

— John L. (5/5)

Ottawa Boot Honey Glazed Shell

"This happens to be my second pair of Grantstones. The quality is amazing and evident upon opening the box. I wear boots year round and these will be in rotation... the color is better than I expected. They go well with khakis, cords and all of my jeans. The leather is thick and heavy which will require some break in but... the boot fits comfortably out of the box. I've noticed the stiffness of the leather around my ankles which isn't uncomfortable but is why I mentioned the break in. These definitely have that wow factor!"

— John S. (5/5)

Most beautiful boots I own

"I was incredibly impressed by the fit and finish of these. The shell has beautiful texture and color. The sizing advice I got was spot on. Very pleased with the purchase."

— Ryan C. (5/5)

Honey honey

"These are my third pair of grant stones and my first pair of shell Cordovan. For the price these are amazing. Shell Cordovan is definitely living up to the hype. I got these in 8e like all my other grant stone and the fit is great. The left foot was a bit tight to the point it caused numbness but that went away after a few wears. They feel like gloves. But on my feet. The shell has variations in the color and it's maybe easier to see in different lighting. Over all amazing quality and craftsmanship, fit and comfort. These are beautiful boots and they I can't wait to see how they age over time. These will not be my last pair of GS."

— Joe L. (5/5)

Horween Shell awesomeness!

"These Ottawa boots in Horween shell are fantastic. The color is similar to natural shell offerings I have seen from other makers, “kissed” with just a bit of “honey glaze.” It is a very versatile color. As usual, the construction is unbelievable, comparable to other boots that cost 50% more. They fit well. Being a boot, it will take time to break them in at the shaft, but given the high quality of the Horween leather, I have no worries that they will eventually fit like a glove and feel like slippers. They are beautiful boots."

— Rick L. (5/5)

Another great boot from Grant Stone

"I went in to these already owning a few pair of Grant Stone boots, but not having any in Honey Glazed Shell. These did not disappoint me at all, great color of shell, great fit and of course above average construction and details. Another great boot in my growing Grant Stone Collection."

Q&A

How does the size compare to the Alden Barrie and true balance last? IE if I'm a 10E in both would you recommend the same size or a size down
The majority of our customers wear the same size between our Leo last and the Alden Barrie last. Both of them (Leo and Barrie) fit slightly smaller than the Trubalance last. If your Barrie last fits a little snug and you prefer to have a little more room, we'll see some customers wear a half size up from their Trubalance sizing, which would put you into the 10.5E. Hope this helps.
