"I really wanted to leave a glowing review, especially considering the quality of your footwear, but I have to be honest: this Cedar Shoe Valet Kit just doesn’t live up to the same standard. The wood is surprisingly thin and feels flimsy—definitely not the solid, durable box I was expecting. One of the rubber feet has already fallen off, and it was only attached with a single staple. The rubber itself tore, so there wasn’t much for the staple to hold onto in the first place. To add to the frustration, the box isn’t even large enough to comfortably fit the included bottle of cream. Unfortunately, I’m already looking for a replacement because this valet doesn’t meet my needs. And with the broken foot, I’m not sure I can even return it. I genuinely regret this purchase. I don’t enjoy writing reviews like this, but I believe honest feedback is important."

"On a crisp winter day a small package arrived to my home. Upon opening it, I was greeted with the strong and rich smell of cedar. As I took in the rich scene, I examined the box as well as its contents. The box itself is well constructed and the brush and polish that came with it make me want to do polish footwear soon like those shoe shiners of old. Thank you for such a great product that will help add a classic touch to when I maintenance my beloved footwear."
